Induction Programme of MBA at Rungta

Santosh Rungta Group’s  Rungta College of Engineering & Technology, Bhilai has conducted 4 days Induction for new batch of MBA students.  The programme was organised by Department of Management of Studies of RCET.  The whole 4 days induction is classified under four titles i.e. Ice Breaker Day, Being Marketenius, Being Humanius & Being Finanius. During these four days students got a lot of learning experience along with thrills. Director (F&A) of Santosh Rungta Group, Mr. Sonal Rungta said that induction programme is very important for the new students because many of their queries and concerns in their minds related to course and institution were resolved in the very  beginning of the academic session which helps and encourage them to achieve their goal with full enthusiasm.
On the first day of the induction, Dr. S. M. Prasanna Kumar, Director, RCET, Bhilai addressed the students. He shared his valuable wisdom with the new students and guided the students about the basic principles to be followed by a student to be successful. Dr. Manoj Verghese explained in detail about Vision & Mission of Santosh Rungta Group of Institutions, different activities of the group and Department of Management studies along with the past students placement records & pride achievements of department in past. Dr. Manoj Varghese also taken a session on the topic “Etiquettes” and has revealed some of the hidden secrets regarding the basic etiquettes for the corporate enabled students. He has taught basic about etiquettes along with his personal experiences while following etiquettes.  Prof. J.P. Shrama, Director of Science Colleges, Santosh Rungta Group and Dr. R.K. Rao, Principal, GDRCST also interacted & welcomed new students and shared their views and wished the students a bright future. During the various sessions of induction through various games, quizzes and other mediums the new MBA students were communicated the importance of Management Course.   On this occasion an inspirational movie ““Pursuit of Happiness” has been shown to students. After that students have been asked for their leanings from the movie. All students have actively shared their views in front of all & hence at the end they learnt the real life lesson along with removal of stage freight.  The programme was organized under the guidance of Head of the Deptt. of Management Studies, RCET Dr. Manoj Verghese and faculties of management department Sushil Punwatkar, Kanchan Yadav and Sourabh Guha were contributed their efforts  for the success of the event.
