Apollo BSR Hospital celebrates Women’s Day

Mrs Roy was addressing the International Women’s Day celebration at Apollo BSR Hospital Audi here.Apollo BSR BhilaiYou can chase your dreams only with active support from your life partner. This holds true for both men and women. She congratulated the hospital staff for being an angel to the suffering patients.
Mrs B Polamma narated her insipirational story of rising from a common house wife to being a strong support for women in the labour colonies. She has been instrumental in forming self help groups and turning house wives into small entrepreneurs. Congratulating the hospital staff for their dedicated hard work she said, efforts always bear fruits.
The little star from town Alisha Behura added fervor to the gathering. Sharing her experience with the audience she said, it was her parents who spotted the star within and kept pushing her to cross the limits. She tried giving more than 100 pc of efforts and the results are there for all to see. Their is no shortcut to success, she affirmed.
Earlier CMD BSR Healthcare Group Dr MK Khanduja, Medical Director Dr. AP Savant, Dr Neha, Director Mrs Neera Khanduja lighted the lamp to open the ceremony. Outstanding performers from different departments were felicitated by the guests. CAO of Apollo BSR Hospitals PK Mukherjee proposed the vote of thanks.
Medical director Dr AP Savant delivered the welcome speech. He spoke on the theme of women’s day this year and gave a brief narrative of the gradual change that is happening. The event was compered by manager operations Venishankar Channe, manager HR Mr Sachin and manager media Deepak Ranjan. Director Manish Khanduja, Dr Naveen Kaura, Ms Komal Pandit, Ms Avani Kaur were instrumental in making the event happen.

Women should demand routine checkup for gifts
Dr Rekha Ratnani O&G and reknown fertility expert gave a brief presentation on prevention and early detection of cancer. She also gave tips of leading a healthy life. She asked women to demand routine and periodic health checkups rather than falling for paltry gifts. Simple tests can detect cancer at its onset and can be cured completely, she claimed.

Life time achivement award for Abha Minz  
Felicitation of Ms Abha Minz on this occasion was reverberated with claps and a standing ovation. Ms Minz has served humanity for the last 37 years as a nurse. She is serving the Apollo BSR Hospital as a Nursing superintendant since its inception.
