According to a study published in the journal JAMA Internal Medicine, this diet can lower your risk of breast cancer by a whopping 68%. BSR Cancer Hospital, adjacent to Apollo BSR hospital Junwani road is celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A Mediterranean diet that is rich in plant-based foods, nuts, fish and extra virgin olive oil is beneficial in preventing cancer. In the study, women were divided into two groups where one followed this diet.
