Bhilai. It was a grand moment for Bhilaians to find three epitomes of education, all unique in their own way, share the stage and felicitate each other. Maa Sharada Samarthya Charitable Trust had called upon the Minister for Higher Education to felicitate 36 teachers from an extended family working under the same umbrella of Krishna Education Society. The trio shared their reminiscence of the old days. The occasion celebrated the achievements of the great teacher Shri Madan Mohan Tripathy, who has been instrumental in bringing about a sea change in the education scenario of Chhattisgarh. Having made a humble beginning as a math teacher, Shri Tripathy went ahead to be one of the most successful edupreneurs of the state. With 32 schools under its cap, the Krishna Group of education caters to around 36 thousand pupils of Bhilai, Raipur and Bilaspur. His venture includes 11 senior secondary schools of high repute.
The man who was called upon to celebrate this great teacher, was none other than his most celebrated student from Bhilai Vidyalaya, Shri Prem Prakash Pandey, minister for higher and technical education in Chhattisgarh.
