New Delhi. Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), nation’s largest steelmaker and a ‘Maharatna’ Public Sector Enterprise has been awarded with the prestigious SCOPE Award for Best Practices in Human Resource Management for the year 2014-15. Hon’ble President of India, Shri, Pranab Mukherjee presented the award to Chairman, SAIL Shri. P.K. Singh in the presence of Hon’ble Minister of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises Shri Anant G. Geete and Hon’ble Minister of State for Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises Shri. Babul Supriyo. Earlier, SAIL was awarded in the same category for the year 2011-12. The award was presented at the Public Sector Day function organized by SCOPE at Vigyan Bhawan today.
