Bhilai. Christian College of Engineering & Technology (CCET), Bhilai was established in the year 1998 by the St. Thomas Mission, Bhilai. It is one of the educational institutions run under the aegis of St. Thomas Mission of Bhilai, founded great visionary and pioneer, Late Lamented H.G. Bishop Dr. Stephanos Mar Theodosius. CCET is celebrating its 19 years of excellence with annual college day celebration ‘SYMPHONIA-2017’ from 06 March, 2017 to 07 March, 2017. The Convener of Symphonia-2017 is Mr Shyam Patel, Associate Professor, ET&T dept.This year the spectrum of celebration is broadened by various associations and organizations of Christian College such as Technoclub, Cultural Club, Electronics Engineering Association, Mechanical Engineering Association, Computer Science Association, Sports Club and Literary Club. On 06 th March, 2017, students from various engineering colleges of Chhattisgarh will compete in a plethora of Intercollege events such as Robo Race, Robo Soccer, Water jet Rocket, Line follower, Tug of War, Gears of war, NFS, Add by Mad, Top coder, Minute to win it, Virtual reality, Picks the pics, debate competition, instant advertizing, Rangoli, Group dance, Solo dance, Dub Smash, Twist in games, Best out of Waste, Robo War, Counter Strike, Mini Militia, Volley ball, Hand ball, Table Tennis, Arm Wrestling etc. The main celebrations to be held on 07 th March, 2017 will be presided by the Chairman of CCET, H G Dr Joseph Mar Dionysius in the presence of the Executive Vice Chairman OF CCET, Fr Jose k Varghese, the Principal, Dr Dipali Soren, various dignitaries, faculties of all departments and students. On 07 th March, 2017 various Intra-College events and cultural night will be organized by students to celebrate the 18 th annual college day function.
