मां
धरती पर आने से पहले,
मैने पूछ लिया उससे
स्वर्ग में तो सम्भाल लिया आपने
जाने के बाद क्या होगा मेरा हाल वहां पे
उस परमात्मा ने जवाब कुछ ऐसा दिया
कि मेरे चेहरे पे रौनक आ गई
कहा – भेज रहा हूँ एक फरिश्ता
ध्यान रखेगा बहुत तुम्हारा
सोचा पूछ ही लूँ नाम उसका
कहा – कहकर पुकारना तुम उसे माँ

एक दिन दोस्तों ने किया सवाल
जरा सोचना अगर माँ न हो तो,
कौन करेगा देखभाल
जवाब तो मुँह से एक ही निकला
वो शब्द जो होता है बहुत खास पापा
फिर पूछा
अगर घर में बुजुर्ग न हो तो
कौन सम्हालेगा परिवार
जवाब तो मुँह से एक ही निकला

फिर दोस्तों से मैंने किया सवाल
कौन है जो करे माँ जैसा प्यार
जवाह जो मुँह से एक ही निकला

Natures morning
Today morning I woke up,
By the fragrance of flowers in my garden
I saw the sky blushing up
I can’t express the feeling
I felt that time…
I saw a baby chive growing out,
Which I never grew….
Beside the conked jemmey,
Peeped out a howthrow with
the bees wandering around it…
During this dramatic period
A drack came to the pond near my house
When the sweet song of Thrush was on..
This was the feeling I experienced that time..
That I will not feel again
In my life

Nothing But Hope
I lived in the city of heavens
As beautiful as Paris
It was full of life and cheers
All serene and beautiful
But then came in the terrorists
Started killing people one after one
That sight still haunts me
Whenever I think of it
Jumping from helicopters
Carrying chute on their back
The filigree of the city
too were plundered
We wanted any one to come
to help but it was unreal
Their nature was
Very cruel
They hacked and chipped
Turning everything to ruins
The reeve was tied
and he was helpless
They used mustard gas
to kill us very painfully
Even today when
I recollect the sight
I have goosebumps
The fear still lives in me
The roots are so deep..
